The Glaven kitchen shows how brushed Limed Oak can bring texture, personality and warmth to a kitchen in neutral colours. Paired with white cabinetry, Caesarstone concrete worktops and open shelving, the kitchen has a light, calming Scandi vibe, its minimalism softened by the natural, grainy timber.
Limed Oak is also brilliant for introducing an element of the traditional farmhouse look to a contemporary kitchen. The Brancaster Marshes kitchen combines Flint grey cabinets with stunning brushed Limed Oak elements: most obviously the central island, but also the floor cabinets and details like the floating shelves and peg rail. The effect is to create a beautifully timeless and happy space: the heart of the family home.

What is Limed Oak Cabinetry?
‘Liming’ oak is a traditional technique that involves carefully applying a special wax or whitewash to protect the timber and prevent it from absorbing dirt and moisture. But as well as being a practical treatment, it can look stunning.
