Questions & Answers

1

What sizes can your larders be?

We can make our larders to a vast range of sizes to fit your space! Our standard double larder sizes range from 700mm to 1200mm wide, 1900mm to 2400mm tall, and 400mm to 600mm deep. Our single larders can be from 300mm wide to 600mm wide, and the same heights and depths as before. If you need custom sizing beyond that, we can work with you to see what might be possible.

2

What internal options are there for your larders?

The most basic option would be shelves all the way up, but most people choose to have either 3 or 6 drawers in the bottom half of their larder. We can also add in appliances, worktop, more shelves, spice racks - or other custom configurations!

3

Do you do pocket doors?

Yes, we can put pocket doors on our larders. There is also an option to have bifolding doors on the top half of the unit, which also allows you to leave the larder open without the doors getting in the way! For examples of this, visit our Ryburgh kitchen page.

4

Can I put small appliances in my larder?

Yes, our clients often put small appliances like toasters and coffee machines inside their larders. We'll simply fix the shelves high enough to go above the appliances, and the person fitting your kitchen will cut out holes for plug sockets out of the back of the unit when installing the kitchen. We would recommend keeping the doors of your larder open when using any small appliances.

5

Can you make freestanding larders?

Yes, we can make freestanding larders. These can either have wooden legs built in or be put on a metal frame. For examples see our Harpley page or our Southwold page.
