The Hertfordshire Manor

We've had a pretty exciting start to the year here at Naked Kitchens, with many exciting new projects in the pipeline. A few weeks ago we finally had the chance to visit one of our clients beautiful home for a photoshoot with incredibly talented photographer Malcolm Menzies, who has taken so many of the beautiful images featured on our website. Set in the beautiful countryside, there is no doubt that this was the most idyllic setting for a photoshoot. After weeks of poor winter weather, the sun was finally shining so there was no doubt that this was going to result in some beautiful images! We started the shoot in the kitchen, capturing the incredible subtle detailing and natural ambience that this room creates. By using neutral coloured cabinetry, with bursts of warmth from blue accessories and natural oak detailing, the kitchen has a beautiful relaxing vibe, that is perfect for entertaining family and friends in. The absolutely stunning dining table by Norfolk Oak is paired with the most beautiful rustic leather chairs. Terracotta and Rust are insanely beautiful colours and are so on trend giving this traditional table design a beautifully modern update. Created in a character oak, this table will age incredibly beautifully with this house, always providing a point of personality within the room and that will be full of stories in years to come. Accessories from beautiful interiors store Birdie Fortescue, are the perfect addition to this large table. We couldn't complete a photoshoot without a feature from one of the family dogs- Birdy! Beautifully picturesque (it was not as easy as it looks to get this shot!), Birdy was a brilliant addition to the shoot, also showing how our kitchens are perfect for a family home. The table extension works amazingly for extra family members who want to be involved, positioned in the perfect location to sit and while away time chatting to anyone in the kitchen just a few metres away, or look out at the views through the bi-folding doors situated along one whole length of the wall! The Boot Room was a beautiful addition to this home, in-keeping with the traditional shaker theme of the other cabinets within the room. By using a shaker oak peg rail and an oak bench, this room is fitting for the clients and has a beautiful welcoming warmth that is perfect when coming into the house from a long dog walk outside! The beautiful vanity unit created for the en suite bathroom is so clean and simple, letting the beauty of the copper sinks really shine and take centre stage. The beautiful Little Greene-Joanna is the perfect colour choice and looks incredible with the Silestone counter top. A beautifully understated unit that fits perfectly with the minimalist vibe of this room. The Dressing Room has a beautiful elegance that is perfect for storing the clients belongings. With no doors, the room is completely open except for the set back drawers. This creates an incredible statement, and really allows the personality of the homeowners to shine through.
