The Chester Row Kitchen
We were lucky enough to be invited back into one of our clients home's recently to photograph their beautiful Naked Kitchen. An absolutely stunning home and an incredible kitchen to go alongside it!
The Chester Row kitchen is a design we created back in 2017 alongside our clients and the interior design company Cucine Interiors. The owners had given us the brief that they wanted a kitchen that would be perfect for family living and also entertaining friends and family on a regular basis.
We knew that space was not going to be an issue in this kitchen, and that due to the heritage of the building, a traditional kitchen style with luxury elements would work perfectly. We planned out the cabinetry for the parameter of the kitchen, for which we chose to use a beautiful shaker design and neutral colours to ensure that all of the focus could remain on the other elements of the kitchen, as well as allowing the marble splash back to take centre stage.
We knew that adding walnut timber would add a luxurious feel to the kitchen, as it is such a rich, intense timber. The owners love to entertain for family and friends, so we knew adding a large island into the design would be perfect for this. The island can be used as a preparation area, as there is a large sink incorporated, as well as a seating area for family and friends.
We knew that the clients wanted to incorporate marble into their kitchen, and they chose to use a beautiful marble as it adds such a luxurious feel to a room. By choosing bookmarked marble as their splash back, it immediately draws your attention to this element of the room. Adding a matching marble worktop creates a sense of beautiful symmetry in the room, and helps to unify all of the elements in the room, which is especially necessary in a room of this size!
Although incredibly large and open plan, the Chester Row kitchen does infact have completely different sections to the room. Whilst the large island is the perfect area to host drinks and informal dining, the room also has a separate coffee making area. This element of the kitchen is actually finished in a beautiful oak timber and in a matching shaker design, but the lighter timber allows for the otherwise hidden corner to stand out. Furnished with a beautiful coffee machine and matching accessories, this is the perfect bespoke drinks station!
The Chester Row Kitchen is just one of the many beautiful kitchens we have created for clients recently. We are constantly updating our portfolio, so check out our Instagram or take a visit to our showroom in Norfolk!
