Contemporary Slab Kitchens
At Naked Kitchens one thing that we love to receive after manufacturing a kitchen for a customer is images of their finished room! As we are supply only, we often don't get to see the final result of the kitchen once it has left our workshop, unless we have the option to organise a photoshoot, which is not very often! So when a client sends through images of their kitchen fully installed and finished, we are truly delighted.
A contemporary slab design with modern circular Ladbroke handles that add to the clean lines of this kitchen. To add dimension to the kitchen, there are two colours by Farrow and Ball used; Ammonite and Moles Breath. These still remain beautifully neutral, but allow the island to become more of a feature within the room. The antiqued glass splashback is a beautiful addition to this kitchen beautifully balancing the modern cabinet design with a traditional element. Having this large mirrored splashback helps to bounce light around the room ensuring it feels large and open, whilst providing the chef of the evening with beautiful reflected views of the garden.
The larder is an incredible feature of this room. With a minimalist, clean design and beautiful statement black metal legs, this design shows how even the most traditional cabinet designs can be updated to be incredibly contemporary.
We were lucky enough to have been sent more customer photos recently, also of a contemporary ladbroke style kitchen! Finished in Farrow and Ball's Railings, this cabinetry is dark and sleek, but the room still feels light and open due to the bright white surfaces, stainless steel appliances and accessories. There is no doubt this room's appeal is it's clean lines and modern minimalist feel.
The circular ladbroke handles have a gold painted backing providing a subtle new feature to the room, and hitting the metallic trend that is already very popular so far this year! The mixture of materials in the room add dimension and different focal points, whilst adding to the natural ambience of the room through the timber accents and natural flooring choice.
The final element of this wonderful kitchen is the bespoke larder we created. With sleek pull out drawers, integrated tray areas and large shelves for maximum storage of ingredients and utensils. Finished in the same Railings colour and with timber inside the larder, in-keeping with the whole kitchen, and retaining the minimalist beauty of the room.
