We've been lucky enough to have had another set of client photos recently sent in of their recently finished kitchen. A beautifully simple and elegant design that is perfect for this busy family and their lifestyle.
This kitchen is a beautiful example of how traditional shaker can be given a modern update. By using the elegant shaker cabinetry, this adds a timeless sophistication to the design, and combined with the beautiful marble worktop, creates a kitchen that is perfect for both family living and entertaining.
By having cabinetry running the length of the wall on one side of the kitchen helps to keep the room as open and as light as possible. Combined with a light neutral colour scheme, this creates a room that feels open and spacious and perfect for a busy family.
As the ceilings are vaulted, this provides a lot of height in the room, allowing for extra storage space and room for beautiful pendant lighting. The lighting choice is very fitting for a room of this style, as they are understated yet have an incredible amount of detail and add another element of elegance to the room.
This long run of cabinetry is then mirrored by the very large island within the room. As the cabinetry is neutral, having such a large statement island really helps to give the kitchen a wow factor. A beautiful marble worktop really adds to this kitchen design and helps give a luxurious boost to this shaker kitchen.
We love the cool brass stools that are neatly tucked away under the island- a perfect area for feeding hungry children or keeping a watchful eye as they do their homework. The neutral colour palette and the luxurious marble used throughout the kitchen help add an elegant sophistication.
