Five Kitchen Trends in 2019

By on Jan 02, 2019
2018 has been a year of many different trends for interiors. We've seen colours dramatically change direction, different textures come into play and timber really taking the centre stage in kitchens, and a lot of these trends are likely to continue into 2019. We think there are a lot of new trends that will emerge in 2019 and we can't wait to see them! Year of the Honey- 2018 saw Dulux announce their colour of the year as Spiced Honey. Although slightly slow on the uptake this year, we do think that 2019 will be the year that we see this colour everywhere. Beautifully warm and comforting, this neutral colour is the perfect canvas for a kitchen. We also think that combining this colour with a brighter pop of colour, like Pantone's Living Coral (colour of the year 2019) will create the most wonderful combination. Read more

Living Coral

By on Dec 19, 2018
Somehow that time of year has come round again quicker than we can actually blink, and Pantone have released their colour of the year again! Last year we saw the incredibly bright Ultra Violet be crowned the winner, and whilst potentially not as popular as we anticipated, we definitely have seen rooms that have been inspired by this colour palette. Kitchen Trends and Colours

By on Nov 21, 2018
Every couple of months there is definitely a shift within home interior trends. Preferences start to change and you can see when people start to move on. Often, this is simply colour palettes changing with the seasons, or impractical trends slowly becoming less popular. One of the first trends we've noticed emerging is the introduction of much warmer colour palettes into the kitchen. Whilst bright bold colours have been popular throughout the spring summer time, it is clear that as we are now transitioning into the autumn winter trends, people are looking for the richer warmer tones for their room. We're loving seeing beautiful rusty colours, deeper blues, azure greens and even mustard yellows making their way into the kitchen. These colours look even more beautiful with oak and walnut timber creating an intensely beautiful room. We even love the tones of mustard so much that we've created our own showroom kitchen in this colour! Combining this colour with Inchyra blue and walnut timber has created a kitchen that is so inviting and looks almost retro with its colour palette choices. We're loving seeing these natural colours in the kitchen and can't wait to see more beautiful designs! Read more
