The Chester Row Kitchen
We were lucky enough to be invited back into one of our clients home's recently to photograph their beautiful Naked Kitchen. An absolutely stunning home and an incredible kitchen to go alongside it!

How To Design A Grand Kitchen
Here at Naked Kitchens, we love to design different styles of kitchens for our clients. We love all styles of kitchen, from compact to open plan large rooms, contemporary to very traditional and everything in between! Recently, we photographed an incredible kitchen which had a very grand feeling to it, and we wanted to celebrate this by giving a few design tips on how to recreate your own grand kitchen.

Birdie Photoshoot Take Two
If you're a regular reader of this blog, you may know that at the beginning of the year, we provided our showroom to local interiors business Birdie Fortescue as a venue for their spring summer collection photoshoot.
Recently we got in contact again with Birdie, as we knew they needed a location to shoot their autumn/winter campaign, and we've just installed some absolutely fabulous new kitchens into our showroom that we thought would be the perfect backdrop!
With our incredible bespoke copper splashback as the backdrop for pink and teal pierced votives, these items are able to take centre stage whilst complimenting the matching colours that have been produced from the hand ageing process.
Our beautiful island with bespoke end grain worktop was the perfect surface for Birdies new collection of linens. Beautiful purple colours combine incredibly with the pink colour of the island. A unique island that has innovative built-in technology, as well as bespoke storage. The copper handles on the island provide an eye catching statement that complements the linens beautifully.
The exclusive artwork that you can find at Birdie's shops look so incredible against our oak wall, amongst the other beautiful pieces from their latest collection. The matte black Lapitec worktop provides a beautiful contrast against the light, pastel collection making everything stand out even more.
We would love for you to check out Birdie's products, as we know how beautiful they look in our showroom kitchens, and we know they would look even more beautiful in your own homes!

The Long Acre Kitchen
We've been lucky enough to visit some of our customers beautiful homes recently to take photos of their incredible kitchens. Most recently, we visited a stunning property here in Norfolk to take photos of the absolutely stunning kitchen that we designed for them!
When we got to the property, we immediately knew this was going to be stunning shoot. A fabulous building with heaps of character, large rooms and beautiful architecture- the perfect scenery for our shoot!

The Design Questions Everyone Asks... Island Edition
As a kitchen is an investment for many that often takes years to save for, and involves a lot of time, money and often is a very emotional process too- so it's something you want to get right first time. When working on kitchen designs for customers, we get many different queries from customers about the flow and layout of their kitchen and they often need a lot of guidance on where to place their appliances, whether they need an island, where to place their seating area and many more questions.
So to help answer some of these queries we've created a blog series that is going to answer your design questions. The first design topic we're going to tackle is about islands.

Houzz 2018 Kitchen Trends UK
As a professional in the kitchen industry, we are always aiming to widen our audience and one of the ways in which we do this is through the platform Houzz.
Being a part of Houzz also provides the opportunity to be involved in different webinars which have many different topics, including trends and ways to improve your Houzz profile. The most recent webinar that we attended outlined all of the trends that Houzz have predicted for Kitchens in 2018. We thought it would be interesting to let you know what these trends are, and our interpretation of them!
The first main trend highlighted was white kitchens. People are looking for fresh, open spaces and having everything white is a very easy way to do that. White is a colour that evokes an immediate sense of cleanliness, a quality that everyone wants in the hub of their home.
We think that white kitchens are an incredible option. With many people choosing open plan living for their kitchen, by keeping the room as light as possible will make the space feel even more open and large, which is a quality that many people are looking for. We particularly love the Kensington Kitchen we created with 2LG's, which is finished in Wimbourne White by Farrow and Ball.

The Oyster Catcher Kitchen
We've been incredibly busy here at Naked Kitchens, creating some new, absolutely beautiful kitchens! As well as creating new kitchens for clients, if you come to visit us here in Norfolk, you'll see that our showroom has completely changed, and we've had a lot of new additions!
One of these new additions is the gorgeous Oyster Catcher kitchen. A compact, traditional style kitchen that has some beautiful bespoke detailing. With shaker style doors, square beading and an Iroko worktop, this kitchen is every traditional kitchen lover's dream! This kitchen is just a starting point for what you can achieve with Naked Kitchens.

The Walnut Kitchen Of Dreams
We create so many beautiful kitchens for our customers here at Naked Kitchens, but as we are supply only, once the kitchens have been delivered that's often the last we will ever see of them. However, sometimes we are lucky enough to be able to organise a photoshoot in the clients home so we can create some images and be able to share and inspire other customers, and that's exactly what's happening today!
Our creative director, in-house photographer and kitchen designer were up at the crack of dawn today to travel down from our workshop to London to photograph one of the beautiful kitchens we've recently created. An incredible open plan room with the most stunning island that is so different to anything we've ever created before. A contemporary take on a very traditional timber, with a handle that is a new take on our J-groove. The Walnut cabinets pair perfectly with the bespoke island made by our sister company Norfolk Oak. With beautiful earthy accessories, there's no doubt this kitchen is going to look absolutely stunning!
We've got a lot more snaps to come, but we thought we'd give you a quick behind the scenes glimpse of whats to come!

Blushing Pink
Pink is a phenomenon that we just can't seem to get over in the interiors world! Throughout the years, we've gone from baby pinks to bright millennial pinks and just about everything in between, but it seems that 2018 is the year for blush, dusky pink. A beautiful dusky colour, with just the right amount of grey to create a soft, unfocused colour that immediately relaxes the mind.
It might seem like a colour that should be used in the bedroom or living room, rooms that are reserved for relaxing only. However, the kitchen is fast becoming this type of room, and is no longer just a small room for cooking in, meaning blush pink is perfect. A colour that works beautifully on its own, and also looks incredible with a combination of so many different colours. Adding black into the mix gives the pink an edge, whilst mixing pink within a white kitchen keeps the room beautifully fresh and adds a unique element. You don't need to introduce a large amount of this colour, simply a small injection of pink will provide the lift that your room needs.
