The Oyster Catcher Kitchen

We've been incredibly busy here at Naked Kitchens, creating some new, absolutely beautiful kitchens! As well as creating new kitchens for clients, if you come to visit us here in Norfolk, you'll see that our showroom has completely changed, and we've had a lot of new additions! One of these new additions is the gorgeous Oyster Catcher kitchen. A compact, traditional style kitchen that has some beautiful bespoke detailing. With shaker style doors, square beading and an Iroko worktop, this kitchen is every traditional kitchen lover's dream! This kitchen is just a starting point for what you can achieve with Naked Kitchens. We are particularly fond of this little kitchen we've created for our showroom because of the sweet back story that inspired us to make this design... Here at West Raynham airbase we have a lot of different wildlife surrounding us. This year, we've been lucky enough to have a nest of Oyster Catchers right near our front door, which have recently hatched into 4 little chicks! We get so much inspiration from nature for our kitchen designs, so we knew we wanted to take something from these birds and transfer it into one of our kitchens. We decided on the beautiful black colour for our cabinets after seeing the Oyster Catchers flying around outside the hangar, and the bright orange beaks inspired our choice of Iroko as the worktop timber. A timber that matures and darkens in colour over time, Iroko starts as a beautiful shimmering golden colour and slowly darkens into a rich darker brown colour. We know that the worktop will look beautiful as it slowly changes tones over time, and very much like the Oyster Catchers will become even more beautiful over time. One of the things that we are so well known for is creating kitchens that will look absolutely beautiful not just when it's first created, but also in years to come. A timeless kitchen with an incredibly sweet beginning that will look perfect in anyone's home.
