Living Coral
Somehow that time of year has come round again quicker than we can actually blink, and Pantone have released their colour of the year again! Last year we saw the incredibly bright Ultra Violet be crowned the winner, and whilst potentially not as popular as we anticipated, we definitely have seen rooms that have been inspired by this colour palette. Purple is such a luxurious colour that can be very intense, so it has to be used in the right way otherwise it can be very overpowering.

2019 Interior Trends
5 interior trends you need to know about for 2019
With the New Year just around the corner, many of us are beginning to think about what to do with
our interiors for 2019. When the Christmas decorations come down, our homes can look a little bare
— so if you’re considering a revamp, January is the perfect time to incorporate some of the latest
styles. From metallic details and geometric patterns, to natural stone finishes and this year’s must-
have colour, we’ve got all the details on the looks that are set to be big in 2019.
Story Telling
People are increasingly wanting to know the story behind their furniture, as well as the materials
and craftsmanship that go into each piece. Whether it’s an authentic Carrara marble worktop, or a
unique antique accessory, features with an unusual origin are great conversation pieces that never
go out of style. And in 2019, we can expect to see a similar trend for furniture, too.
It’s no longer enough to simply have stylish furnishings — you should know exactly how and where
they were built, too. So, if you’re looking to update your living room suite, make sure you buy from a
retailer that crafts their own furniture to order. Sofas by Saxon build all of their sofas and chairs
using quality materials, including responsibly-sourced, FSC-certified European hardwood, and can
tailor any detail to suit your requirements. Go for a couch in a Chesterfield jewel-toned velvet shade
for a look which is right on-trend.
Not an unusual origin, but certainly one to be proud of; Naked Kitchen is a British manufacturer that designs, creates and manufactures everything on one site in North Norfolk. FSC-certified European birch ply is used for all of the kitchen carcasses that has been sustainably-sourced. Available in so many different designs, a Naked Kitchen is incredibly versatile and are sure to be able to design your dream kitchen.

Kitchen Trends and Colours
Every couple of months there is definitely a shift within home interior trends. Preferences start to change and you can see when people start to move on. Often, this is simply colour palettes changing with the seasons, or impractical trends slowly becoming less popular.
One of the first trends we've noticed emerging is the introduction of much warmer colour palettes into the kitchen. Whilst bright bold colours have been popular throughout the spring summer time, it is clear that as we are now transitioning into the autumn winter trends, people are looking for the richer warmer tones for their room. We're loving seeing beautiful rusty colours, deeper blues, azure greens and even mustard yellows making their way into the kitchen. These colours look even more beautiful with oak and walnut timber creating an intensely beautiful room. We even love the tones of mustard so much that we've created our own showroom kitchen in this colour! Combining this colour with Inchyra blue and walnut timber has created a kitchen that is so inviting and looks almost retro with its colour palette choices. We're loving seeing these natural colours in the kitchen and can't wait to see more beautiful designs!

2018 Kitchen Trends
With our round up of 2017 post, we let you know all of the trends we were loving for the kitchen in 2017, and so we thought it was only right that we share our prediction of kitchen trends for 2018. With January now over, there have been some clear paths set, making it much easier to see which trends are emerging, and which ones look set to stay!
METALS
The use of metal in the kitchen is something that we saw more and more of towards the end of 2017, but 2018 is set to see metals used in much more of a statement way. With beautiful darker colours being used in kitchens, brighter metals are being used alongside to provide beautiful accents throughout the room. Traditional metals such as gold and silver will always have a place in kitchen designs, but bolder metals like brass and copper are really pushing their way through. Copper in particular- a metal generally only seen in the kitchen in the form of saucepans- is being used to create incredible accessories, such as faucets and sinks, with a beautiful patina forming over time.
